Game Mechanics
In Squicky, players must guide the mouse through 12 increasingly challenging levels. The objectives are simple yet engaging: collect coins, defeat enemies, and unlock keys to progress to new missions. While collecting every coin is not mandatory, it is essential for maximizing your score. Be vigilant of your environment, as falling off platforms or running into spikes and cats can lead to losing a life.
Time is a critical factor in Squicky. Every level has a time limit, which is displayed at the top left corner of the screen. Keep an eye on the timer to ensure you complete levels swiftly and earn bonus points for time remaining. The ultimate goal is to survive each level by avoiding hazards and successfully gathering keys to unlock future missions.
Power Boosts
- Blue pill: Introduced in level 4, this power-up grants invincibility, allowing you to defeat cats without the risk of dying.
- Blue plane: First available in level 6, the plane allows you to attack white cats by diving from above, adding a strategic layer to your gameplay.
Scoring System
Your score in Squicky is determined by various factors: collecting coins, defeating enemies, and completing levels within the time limit. Coins grant 1 point each, while defeating gray, orange, and white cats rewards you with 2, 4, and 8 points respectively. Additionally, you earn bonus points for every 5 seconds remaining on the timer upon level completion. Strive to enhance your cumulative score by mastering each level's challenges.
How to Play
